Meet Nicole

Growing up in the equine industry since the age of five, Nicole has always found solace in the horse-human connection. She began riding in the all-around western world, but transitioned to hunt seat in her teen years. She rode for the Montana State University Equestrian Team for four years, moving up multiple levels and reaching both regional and zone competitions. While riding for the equestrian team, she completed a B.S. in Equine Science and an M.A in Modern Languages and Literature with a minor in International Business.

After college Nicole joined the eventing community and has been competing ever since. While she events with her personal horse, she teaches within a variety of disciplines in both the western and english world. She has ridden with and been mentored by a variety of professionals, including Jimmy Wofford, Georgia Dillon, Jil Walton, Karen Ososki, and Beverly Sosin. Her focus remains the well-being of both horse and rider and growth through a healthy partnership.

Nicole has also completed extensive programs outside of the riding world, including Equine Facilitated Learning, Masterson Method bodywork courses, and a variety of energy-based work. She loves to help both her students and therapeutic clients explore the self through psychotherapy-based methods with the help of our equine partners. She has been mentored by Kathleen Barry Ingram, M.A., and Dr. Taylor Stevens, D.C.
